1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dotient, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. License & Use
Dotient is provided as a licensed desktop application. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Dotient for your personal file organization and search needs.

When using Dotient, you agree to:
- Use the application in compliance with all applicable laws
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or disrupt the application's functionality

4. Local Processing & Privacy

While your files remain local, Dotient makes lightweight network requests for license key validation and for enriching bookmarks (retrieving page titles, favicons, and metadata from provided URLs). See our Privacy Policy for details.
